Following an extensive search and recruitment process the Board of Trustees are pleased to announce that Teresa Dawson has commenced as our new CEO today 6th March 2023.

Teresa has a BSc (Hons) in Sociology and Applied Social Studies from Northumbria University and is a registered social worker; qualified practice teacher and coach.  She brings with her a wealth of experience in social care and working with the D/deaf community; she was a senior manager within a Local Authority for many years, with responsibility for a number of services including social work and occupational therapy.  Teresa has extensive management experience, skills and qualifications and a proven track record for delivering strong leadership.
